Mauricio Pochettino has decided his first PSG transfer and it may surprise Arsenal fans

Mauricio Pochettino could be set to raid the Premier League for additions to his Paris Saint-Germain side and a surprising Arsenal name has emerged.

The former Tottenham boss has taken the reigns in the French capital and is tasked with finally bringing Champions League glory to last season's defeated finalists.

In order to do so, transfer business is in the offing and Pochettino has seemingly set his sights on raiding English football for fresh additions.

According to CalcioMercato, Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is one of the names on his wish list and it sets-up a three-way battle for the 25-year-old.

Arteta pleased Aubameyang has come through 'difficult period'

It's stated that Barcelona, who had Bellerin on their books until the age of 16, are keen on bringing the full-back to Catalonia but other competition is provided by Juventus, who are said to be keen on reuniting the Spaniard with former teammate Aaron Ramsey.

Bellerin has been a regular for Mikel Arteta's side this season but his stock has decreased significantly from previous years, due to injury issues and inconsistent form.

His performances this term have attracted some criticism from Arsenal fans and he faces a battle to reclaim a starting berth following Cedric Soares' eye-catching display against Newcastle United.

Bellerin's full-back rival made only his second Premier League appearance of the season against Steve Bruce's side and contributed an assist in a dominant win.

That could open the door for more appearances in the coming weeks, with an FA Cup fourth-round clash set for this weekend, followed by league matches against Southampton and Manchester United.
