Mauricio Pochettino handed major boost as Spurs jet off to Belgrade for Champions League clash

Harry Kane is back with his Tottenham teammates after missing the 1-1 draw against Everton due to a virus.

The England striker was expected to feature at Goodison Park but reports in the early hours of Sunday morning claimed that he would be absent for the game on Merseyside.

Spurs return to action on Wednesday evening in the Champions League against Red Star Belgrade and the good news is that Kane could potentially be back in action.

Tottenham uploaded a video to their Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon and it showed the 26-year-old alongside his teammates at the airport.

Son Heung-min was also present after a tough few days for the player following his challenge on Andre Gomes that unfortunately led to the midfielder's horror injury.

Everton 1-1 Tottenham: Mauricio Pochettino full press conference

Amid concerns over the player's current state of mind given he was absolutely distraught at seeing the extent of the injury, the good news is that he has made the trip to Serbia for the game but it's not clear at present if he will start.

Mauricio Pochettino will address the media in Belgrade this evening and things should become a lot clearer regarding the South Korean ace as he will be one of the major talking points.

Danny Rose is also back with his teammates after missing the game against Everton through suspension.

His return means that the manager will have to make a decision whether he or Ben Davies plays at left-back.
