Mauricio Pochettino fawns over Leeds United's 'dizzying football' as he hails Bielsa impact

Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has made a flattering admission about Leeds United, declaring they're one of his favourite sides to watch.

The Argentine boss has close ties with Marcelo Bielsa, having been discovered as a player by the Whites boss during his days with Newell's Old Boys.

Pochettino has long been a vocal admirer of Bielsa's and has now admitted that he still keeps a close eye on Leeds due to their 'dizzying football'.

The comments came in an interview with Spanish media, as Pochettino continues to be absent from football following his dismissal by Spurs last year.

“I like to watch Leeds with Bielsa, because it is dizzying football. Tottenham, because there is a lot of love; and Liverpool, because they have talent," he told Cadena Cope.

Pochettino will have undoubtedly enjoyed last weekend's Premier League opener against Liverpool following the dramatic seven-goal thriller at Anfield.

He may be watching on tomorrow when Elland Road plays host to Premier League football for the first time in 16 years, with Fulham making the trip.
