Mauricio Pochettino has said he was happy wth Christian Eriksen's performance in the 2-2 draw with Olympiacos.
The midfielder was named in the starting line-up for the Champions League group stage opener but looked a shell of his former self with many supporters questioning his impact against the Greek side.
While one quiet performance isn't a disaster, it could be a worrying sign given his contract situation.
The Denmark international is out of contract at the end of the season and despite the efforts of Spurs he's yet to agree an extension to his current deal.
Some thought that Eriksen could move on over the summer, but now it appears that Tottenham are in a tricky position with clubs on the continent able to officially hold talks as soon as January.
Speaking to the press ahead of Saturday's game with Leicester City, Mauricio Pochettino said that he had no concerns with Eriksen's performance.
He said: "No, I'm happy with the performance. Maybe yesterday wasn't his best game like the team.
I think the quality of the performance wasn't the best from us but I'm happy with the commitment of Christian - he ran a lot, (he was) very committed with the team and the effort but I think I'm not concerned about him."
