Maura Higgins has wished her boyfriend Giovanni Pernice good luck as he prepares to dazzle on the dance floor on Strictly Come Dancing tonight.
The 31-year-old professional dancer will be taking to the stage with his partner Eastenders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.
Rose, who uses British Sign Language (BSL) to communicate has said she'll be relying on Giovanni to guide her, and help her keep in time with the rhythm of the music.
Taking to Instagram to show her support Maura, 30, posted a pic of the pair and said: "The very best of luck to you beauties tonight. I know you will absolutely smash it @rose.ae @giovannipernice."
Maura and Giovanni went Insta official with their relationship in July after they were spotted watching the the Italy Euro 2020 match at Wembley.
Maura posted a sweet snap of the pair with the caption "I’m yours" to which Giovanni responded "You're mine" alongside an equally adorable pic.
Her followers and friends welcomed the news with one gushing: "Finally a man that kinda matches how hot she is!!!"
The Irish beauty recently pulled out all the stops for her Italian beau treating him to a romantic break at a plush London hotel for his birthday.
Maura whisked Giovanni away to the five-star Corinthia as the dancer turned 31 on 4 September.
The 30-year-old shared several snaps of the mini break on her Instagram Stories, alongside a stunning video of their luxury hotel suite complete with a huge floor-to-ceiling balloon display and a bottle of champagne to celebrate Giovanni’s birthday.
Giovanni reposted the video on his own Instagram page, and wrote: "You are the best @maurahiggi."
While she may be the "best" Maura is said to have been warned by her friends about the curse of Strictly as the new series gets underway.
Pals hope the former Love Island star won’t fall victim to the show's pressures, which have seen more than one relationship end when celebrities have gone off with their dance partners.
A source told OK! magazine: “Maura knows how things can be manipulated and made to look. During her time on DOI, she was accused of getting too close to her partner."
Maura trusts Giovanni but knows he’s a “huge flirt” and likes to make his partner feel special, the pal said.
"Friends have said if there are any cracks, Strictly could break them,” they added.
After that cringe Tommy Fury moment on Love Island, Maura went on to date fellow Love Islanders Curtis Pritchard and Chris Taylor.
While Giovanni has been in relationships with two of his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars Georgia May Foote and Ashley Roberts.
