Maura Higgins has revealed who the 'naked' mystery man is that was pictured in her kitchen at the weekend.
Fans of the 29-year-old Love Island star were hopeful that she had reconciled with professional dancer Curtis Pritchard, 24, but they were very wide of the mark.
Maura and Curtis recently called it a day as they 'couldn't make their relationship work'.
There was hope among Maura's 2.8 million Instagram followers that she had taken him back after she uploaded a video of a man in pink underwear in her kitchen.
Maura Higgins has cleared up any confusion after fans thought she and Curtis Pritchard were back together after she shared a video of a mystery man in her kitchen.
As his face was hidden, fans quickly jumped to the wrong conclusion and 24 hours after generating interest in the 'naked man by the fridge', Maura set her followers straight.
Maura had originally posted a pic of the man in a tight fitting pair of boxers and captioned it "Sundays" with a string of heart emojis.
Posing the same way as he was in the picture, a giggling Maura demanded in a new video: "Mystery man... reveal yourself."
As the laughter grew, the guest revealed himself to be hair stylist Jay Birmingham, who then stepped out from behind the fridge door to show off his hunky frame.
Laughing along with Maura, he poured himself a glass of wine.
Grinning while pouring himself a glass off wine, Jay stepped towards the camera as he laughed with Maura.
It will be disappointment for Maura's legions of fans, who were convinced that Curtis was back on the scene.
One fan asked: "Why is Curtis naked in Maura's kitchen lol."
Another was certain, writing: "Maura and Curtis are back together. Didn’t see that coming. That’s def his body and I’ve seen him wearing that bracelet before as well."
A gold bracelet on his wrist was enough to convince some, with one fan exclaiming: "That’s Curtis 100%. He always wears a Cartier bracelet just like that one! They’re back on!"
Alas, Curtis is still no more as Maura looks to start a new chapter.
