Love Island star Maura Higgins was forced to put her training on ice this week after suffering an injury.
The Longford beauty is set to appear on the new season of Dancing On Ice following a whirlwind year which saw her shoot fame.
But she was feeling down in the dumps this week as she revealed she had to skip rehearsals after suffering an injury.
Taking to social media, she told her fans: "I think I've broken my ribs and I'm being deadly serious."
As she cradled her stomach she added: "So we can't skate."
But her pro skating partner Alexander Demetriou assured her followers that she'll be okay.
A miserable looking Maura then asked her fans for support saying: "Can I have some sympathy from everyone please?"
The 29-year-old will join former model Caprice Bourret, TV star Michael Barrymore and Perri Kiely from dance troupe Diversity on the ITV show next month.
The reality star sent fans into a frenzy this week with rumours circulating that she is set to take over from Caroline Flack as host of the Love Island winter series.
Maura took to Instagram on the weekend to share photos showing her jetting off to a mystery location teasing fans with a vague caption which said she was "off to the sun to shoot something very exciting".
