Maura Higgins is reportedly heart-broken after splitting with Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Giovanni Pernice
The Love Island bombshell and her dancing boyfriend reportedly split earlier this week as eagle eyed fans noticed the couple deleted all traces of each other from their social media.
The 30-year-old Irish beauty and Strictly hunk have ended their romance after four months of being together as Maura is seemingly "absolutely devastated" as Italian star Giovanni's Strictly commitments got between them.
"It's all over for now. Maura's absolutely devastated, it appears the Strictly curse has struck again," a source told The Sun.
"Pals are hoping that they can patch things up. But only time will tell whether Giovanni's got the time.
"He's been working 24/7 on the show practising with celeb partner Rose, and they've become really good friends. He's even been learning sign language, showing it off on social media.
"Maura's decided to take a step back and let him concentrate on the show."
“OMG! Noooooo! I love those two together! Thought they’d last,” someone else complained.
Meanwhile, a fourth chimed: “That’s bloody heartbreaking. Maura deserves the world.”
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Maura shared a snap of an array of moving boxes in her London apartment.
Alongside the snap, she filled her followers in on why she had been rather quite on social media.
“It’s finally moving week! Reason for my absence,” Maura penned.
