Maura Higgins and Giovanni Pernice appeared to be more loved-up than ever last week but they are now rumoured to have split.
The pair have sparked rumours they are no longer together by deleting all traces of one another on their respective Instagram pages.
The former Love Island babe, 30, and the Strictly Come Dancing professional, 31, made their romance official just a number of months ago, but following their social media detox’s, fans fear the perfect pair may be over.
Irish bombshell Maura has been dating Giovanni since June, and the lovebirds were set to move in with one another this month.
However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted that not only has Maura deleted all traces of her beau from Instagram, she has also unfollowed her Italian hunk.
Naturally, fans shared their concern that the Strictly curse has tainted Maura and Giovanni’s budding romance.
Taking to Twitter, supporters of the couple shared their disappointment.
“Why has Maura deleted all her posts with Giovanni? Not the Strictly curse again,” one questioned.
“It looks like Maura and Giovanni are off. She’s unfollowed him,” another echoed.
“OMG! Noooooo! I love those two together! Thought they’d last,” someone else complained.
Meanwhile, a fourth chimed: “That’s bloody heartbreaking. Maura deserves the world.”
“I imagine the Strictly curse has got them,” another suggested.
Maura social media detox comes just days after the brunette beauty hinted that she was set to move in with Giovanni.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Maura shared a snap of an array of moving boxes in her London apartment.
Alongside the snap, she filled her followers in on why she had been rather quite on social media.
“It’s finally moving week! Reason for my absence,” Maura penned.
And it all appeared to be looking rosy in their romance with sources claiming that the pair were ready to take the next step in their relationship.
Lifting the lid on Maura and Giovanni’s fast-moving romance, a source told Mail Online: “Things have become serious very quickly between Maura and Gio and they are now ready to move things up a level by getting their own place.”
“They both lead incredibly busy lives and spend a lot of time on the road working – so having somewhere they can come back to and always be together is incredibly important.
“They have been talking about it and would like to start looking as soon as they can.”
Earlier this month, there was even talk of Giovanni popping the all-important question to his Irish girlfriend.
The Strictly stars pals told The Sun that they ‘wouldn’t be surprised’ if he proposed to Maura in the near future.
