Hours before confirming her split from Chris Taylor, Maura Higgins revealed a fab new look as hairdressers in the UK reopened.
The Love Island star, who is living in London, welcomed the reopening of hairdressers by getting some new blonde highlights ahead of the summer months - posting on Instagram “That new hair feeling”.
Fans flocked to compliment the Longford native’s new look, with one writing; “I had to comment twice because you look so beautiful.”
Another said; “Lush, how good does it feel looking forward to the first appointment back.”
Her new look comes after her “heartbreaking” announcement this morning confirming her split on social media from fellow love islander Chris Taylor.
The couple, who appeared in season five of the reality dating series in 2019, were good friends on the show but were not together during their time on screen.
Then in November 2020, the couple announced they were romantically involved - sending fans reeling.
A post on Instagram today then said: "It breaks my heart to even type this, but I wanted to let everyone know that myself and Chris have made the joint decision to end our relationship.
“There is no wrongdoing on either side… we still love, care, and respect each other deeply.
“From the minute we met each other we’ve been very close friends and that will never change.
“There is no regret. Life is about taking chances.
“We wanted to make this work but we have realised we work better being friends.”

“I wish Chris nothing but the best and I will always be one of his biggest support.
