Sources close to the star have claimed the saucy Instagram snaps maybe a plea for the attentions of her ex boyfriend Giovanni Pernice.
Insiders claim the reality TV star's latest photo shoots have been to show her ex "what he's missing".
The Strictly Come Dancing star called time on his romance with Maura, 31, in October - with the former Love Island star "devastated" at the time.
As the handsome Italian wows on the BBC ballroom dancing series, the professional dancer has been subjected to rumours about his love life since becoming a single man.
Giovanni, 31, was recently linked to Made in Chelsea star Verity Bowditch - claims he later rubbished - and it's also been speculated that he's grown close to dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis, 27.
Speaking to new! magazine, a source claiming to be close to Maura has revealed the romance rumours surrounding her ex have been a "kick in the teeth" for the star.
"The break is still quite fresh for her so it wasn't nice for her," the insider confessed.
They went on to explain that the relationship didn't end on bad terms but the Glow Up: Ireland presenter has "found it tough".
Since becoming a single lady, Maura has been enjoyed valuable time with her friends - recently jetting off on holiday with Love Island pal Lucie Donlan.
The former villa housemates reunited for a break in the sun towards the end of last month, as Maura celebrated turning 31.
With a glowing tan and a range of skimpy bikinis to adorn her enviable figure, Maura has taken to opportunity to snap many bikini pictures for social media during her trips to the beach.
Sharing one stunning shot on Instagram, Maura simply captioned the image of herself in a barely-there bikini: "Birthday suit."
"I was melting taking this.. because I can’t deal with youuu," pal Lucie gushed in the comment section.
Fellow Love Island alum Ellie Brown added: "Woahhhh."
Sources claim the saucy snaps are not just for Maura's Instagram followers.
"She's had a really good time and she's just trying to get on with her life," they said.
"But she's been doing the typical thing after splitting up with someone - posting lots of bikini pictures to show him what he's missing," the source added to new!
Since splitting from Maura, Giovanni has been wowing judges and viewers each week on Strictly Come Dancing.
After it was reported he had been enjoying dates with E4 star Verity, the Italian dancer rubbished the rumours and took the opportunity to point out his dedication to rehearsing with EastEnders star Rose.
"It's news to me that I am dating, didn't know anything about it," he wrote as part of an Instagram statement last month.
Throughout the post, the professional dancer used plenty of cheeky emojis to poke fun at the rumours surrounding his love life.
