Maura Higgins shares her plane skincare routine after glam photoshoot in Majorca

Maura Higgins has shared a detailed look at her skincare regime as she flew home following a glamorous photoshoot abroad.

The reality star was travelling back home from Majorca, where she's been modelling bikinis for a raunchy swimwear range.

On the journey home, Maura gave her Intagram followers an insight into her self-care routine.

The former Love Islander went make-up free while sporting gold eye masks under each eye.

Gold is used in masks because its repute to relieve tiredness and diminishes the formation of fine lines, wrinkles and crows feet around the eye area, and minimises eye bags and dark circles.

Maura relaxed on the flight with a pair of airpods in each ear as she styled her brunette locks into a messy bun.

The Irish beauty sported a casual black vest top and matching face covering, which is a legal requirement for air travel at the moment.

Seated next to Maura are colleagues and friends, who accompanied her on the shoot to the Balearic island, who also sported face masks and headphones, taking a moment to relax.

After her selfie, Maura turned the camera to the plane window and snapped an artsy shot of blue skies and white clouds.

The 30-year-old has used the hit song Porcelain by Moby, which was used in the movie The Beach, as her soundtrack.

In the final image, Maura revealed she'd landed back home as she posed beside her Louis Vuitton suitcase in fluffy slippers.

Maura captioned the picture, " Home to unpack and repack", hinting that she is off on another overseas jaunt soon.

The former Love Island star has now started a new career as a presenter, interviewing celebs backstage at the NTAs and appearing on This Morning.

Last week, Maura announced on social media that she will be the new host of the Irish version of Glow Up.

The reality show sees make-up artists compete for 10 weeks to show off their talents in cosmetics and prosthetics.

The winner will be crowned Ireland’s Next Make-Up Star and will get an opportunity to further their professional career.

Maura described getting this gig as a "pinch me" moment.
