Maura Higgins has revealed she broke down in tears and "stormed" out of the Love Island villa.
The Longford stunner opened up on her best and worst moments in the series in her new Boohoo podcast Get The Scoop.
She said: "My best moment in the villa was finally finding a man.
"My worst was missing my sister's wedding and missing my niece's birthday, oh my God I cried that day.
"It was also my best friend's two-year anniversary while I was away. I cried so many times.
"You have a lot of good moments, but then you have a lot of bad moments in there too because things get very heightened.
"I'm so proud of the fact I didn't give up because I was going to."
And Maura also revealed for the first time that she secretly stormed out of the show, worrying that she would never find her perfect partner.
She added: "I actually stormed out of the villa and said 'I want to go home, I can't do it anymore, I can't find a man'.
"But I'm so proud that I got the strength to stay and carry on... and now look, I've got a man!"
Model Maura also spoke about her struggle to cope with the attention she received after leaving the villa.
She explained: "I had to take a few days off. I couldn't deal with everything, it was all a bit too much. I couldn't cope, I needed a break to process everything."
