Maura Higgins' father Seamus says he's not at all embarrassed by her cheeky antics on Love Island.
Seamus revealed Maura gave him a big hug when they were reunited and asked "Dad, you weren't watching that, were you?"
But little did she know, Seamus had been watching "every minute" of Love Island and admitted he even "rewound it a few times and watched it again".
And the truck driver added he was "super proud of Maura" and the only thing that bothered him was seeing the 28-year-old upset on the show.
The Longford man said: "Maybe it's because I'm a modern dad. The only time that bothered me was when I could see Maura getting a bit upset or annoyed."
Speaking to The Sunday World, Seamus also gave pro dancer Curtis Pritchard the seal of approval, describing him as a "genuine bloke".
Seamus said: "I have met Curtis and I have to say, he's a gentleman, he's a lovely lad.
"We had a couple of pints of Guinness up there in Skelly's in Ballymahon and he seemed to enjoy them.
"He was up for the craic and I found him to be a genuine bloke".
When asked if he thought Curtis and Maura had a long-term future together, Seamus said: "I'd like to think so. Yeah, I'd definitely like to think there would be."
Speaking about his daughter's newfound fame, Seamus said he was delighted that she'd bagged a new job presenting on This Morning but added that she's "still my little girl."
He said: "Everyone else is looking at Maura as this star but she's still my little girl and always will be."
