After months of speculation that the pair were more than just friends, Maura Higgins has confirmed that she and fellow Love Islander Chris Taylor are in a realtionship.
The pair both appeared in the 2019 series of the show and formed a very close friendship but always denied they were anything more than good friends.
But on Tuesday night they both posted the same loved-up snap on their Instagram confirming they are now an item.
Maura posted: "He's mine. @christophertaylorofficial."
Sharing the same photo of the pair looking very loved up in Dubai, Chris posted: "Turns out I fell in love with my best mate @maurahiggins."
Fellow islanders were also quick to congratulate the happy couple with winner Greg O'Shea posting: "This is what 2020 needed."
Amber who won the series with Greg added: "Omg cute!!"
Danny Williams said: "I’m worried this pic might actually break the internet for real."
Maura left the Love Island villa with Curtis Pritchard after the pair finished fourth on the show and dated for several months afterwards before confirming their spilt in March this year.
