Maura Higgins caught liking snap of Love Island crush Tommy Fury without Molly-Mae

Love Island star Maura Higgins has been exposed by fans who caught her reacting to a snap of villa crush Tommy Fury.

The Irish stunner looked to be keeping a watchful eye on Tommy's Instagram page when she 'favourited' a photo of him without Molly-Mae Hague and then replied with three love hearts.

Fans immediately jumped on the bold move with many adding jokes about 'fanny flutters', in honour of the catchphrase Maura coined on her first date with Tommy.

"WE HAVE THE LATEST RAW TEA," cried one - taking it as a sign Maura was still into the boxer.

The smiling snap of a smartly dressed Tommy was taken on the night of Monday's live final.

Posted by a friend looking after Tommy's account, the caption read: "RUNNERS UP . We are incredibly proud of our Tommy, thank you to each and everyone of you for all the support throughout this series. Tommy & Molly have won meeting eachother, we can’t wait to watch their journey on the outside world. That’s it from us, next person you’ll be hearing from is Tommy ❤."

It's not yet clear whether Maura's response to the photo was from herself or the person trusted to look after her page in her absecence.

Like the other Love Island finalists, Maura was handed back her phone after Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were announced the winners on Monday night.

Despite her lusty pursuit of Tommy during her first week in the villa, Maura said she was rooting for him and Molly-Mae to take the crown.

She spoke out after some fans of the show had claimed to notice her looking 'cross' when Amber and Greg were announced as the winners.

"You know what, I'm not going to lie - I was shocked," Maura admitted.

"Obviously, I love Greg and Amber to bits, but I mean, it’s Love Island. Molly and Tommy have found love, it’s genuine love, and I was without a doubt shocked. I thought they had it in the bag.”

"It is Love Island and they found love," she admitted.

Maura also stuck up for Molly-Mae after some viewers have accused her of faking her feelings for Tommy.

"Molly-Mae is the most genuine girl I’ve ever met in my life. She is without a doubt besotted by Tommy, and they’re the perfect couple,” she said.
