Maui Invitational bracket to be released tomorrow morning

It was announced tonight that the bracket for the Maui Invitational will be released by The Ringer’s One Shining Podcast crew tomorrow at 9am ET on The Ringer’s YouTube channel.

One Shining Podcast is The Ringer’s (theringer.com) NCAA basketball podcast featuring Mark Titus, who played for the Ohio State Buckeyes during the Mike Conley, Greg Oden era and Tate Frazier.

The Maui Invitational is an annual tournament in Hawaii that takes place during Thanksgiving Weekend.

Here is the list of teams competing in this year’s event:

  • BYU
  • Chaminade
  • Dayton
  • Georgia
  • Kansas
  • Michigan State
  • UCLA
  • Virginia Tech

Of course, the event will be headlined this year by Michigan State and Kansas. With all the hype behind Michigan State’s basketball team this year, they will likely actually be the more anticipated team in this tournament and, if all goes according to plan, they’ll still be the number 1 team in the league during the tournament.
