Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff has teamed up with a new agent.
The 20-year-old, who was previously with Beswicks Sports, has announced he is joining the same agency as England legend Wayne Rooney and current Three Lions star Harry Maguire.
A statement from Triple S, the company that was founded by former Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Matty to the Triple S ranks.”
Longstaff signed a two-year renewal after his contract ran out last summer at St James’ Park.
The Academy product agreed to stay on the basis he would have a plan for his development and get regular first-team football.
Longstaff turned down a move to Serie A side Udinese last summer while there was interest from Schalke 04 and Leeds United.
After signing his new deal, Longstaff said: "I spoke to [manager] Steve Bruce and we talked through it and it was a no-brainer after I spoke to him.
"He gave me my chance and I'm really looking forward to working with him and his coaching staff, who were all great with me."
