Matty Longstaff on which teammate is likely to start a fight; and meeting Mickey Mouse

Matty Longstaff took his Newcastle United debut in his stride - scoring the only goal in the 1-0 win over Manchester United, but what about his views on living in the wild and the fairytale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?

While the last few weeks have been filled with media interviews about his upbringing, the influence of his dad, and his relationship with his brother Sean, Matty took the time out to allow fans a little look into his thinking about some very random subjects.

No doubt you've seen the video of Matty talking about the afterlife, but the 19-year-old didn't stop there with his insight into life, taking part in the club's ' Toon Tombola .'

This is a feature in the match-day programme where the players answer a selection of random questions - here's Matty's responses.

Q: Where's the most beautiful place you've ever been to?

A: Normally I just go golfing in Spain but I'd probably say Florida, for all the rides. I go and meet Mickey Mouse.

Q: Which of your teammates would be most likely to get into a fight?

A: Oh, I'm not sure. I think Matt Ritchie could be up there with some of the other players, when he's always having a go at them and arguing.

Or big Jamaal, the skipper - always backing people. I'd want him on my side like, 'cause he's a big boy.

Q: What has been the greatest day of your life so far

A: I think it's pretty obvious isn't it? The goal against Man U, it doesn't get any better than that.

Q: What's the best piece of advice you've been given?

A: A piece of advice from my dad - 'happy people produce.' I think that's the best one I've had.

Q: How do you feel about Brexit?

A: It is what it is, isn't it? I'll leave it to the higher people to answer. I don't really know the full story.

Q: If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be?

A: It depends because if I choose something deadly it could kill me, couldn't it?
Unless I train it well, I guess, maybe a monkey? That'd probably be the best. I think it'd be fun, having it hanging from the trees.

Q: How rigorous is your hand-washing routine?

A: Down the academy when they had the Norovirus going around, there was a way you had to do it, and I learned to do it that way.

Q: Which of the Seven Dwarfs is most like you?

A: I'd probably be Happy - I'm always smiling or having a joke.

Q: How do you think you would cope living in the wild?

A: I'm not sure, you'd probably have to ask my mam and she'd say I wouldn't be great.

She tends to do everything for me, so I'm not sure how well I'd do.

I couldn't kill animals - I haven't got it in me.

I'm too nice! Let them live.
