Matty Cash, Joe Lolley, Samba Sow - Nottingham Forest's predicted line-up at Barnsley

Nottingham Forest need a draw at Barnsley on Sunday to secure a play-off place - but they go into the game with their share of injury worries.

The Reds hope to have right-back Matty Cash back for the trip to a team which is bottom of the Championship and in need of a win to have any chance of staying up.

Midfielders Joe Lolley and Samba Sow are “slight doubts” for the Oakwell clash, having both also had injury problems recently.

Cash has missed the last two games with a groin strain, while Lolley has struggled with shin splints of late, although he did feature in the 2-2 draw with Swansea.

Sow made his return at the start of this month after being sidelined with a knee problem, but Lamouchi is keen not to take too many risks.

“We need to see if he will be with us for training this afternoon - I think so,” he said of Cash.

“We have today and tomorrow, so we will see. I hope so.

“We just have players with some slight doubt, so nothing serious, I hope - Lolley, Samba Sow - nothing new.”

If Cash does return the Carl Jenkinson looks set to drop out of the team.

Had results gone their way on Saturday then Lamouchi would have been able to rest players, but Swansea are still in contention in seventh place after their 1-0 win against Bristol City.

Predicted team: Samba; Cash, Figueiredo, Worrall, Ribeiro; Watson, Yates; Da Costa, Silva, Ameobi; Grabban
