Matthew Wolfenden has revealed there isn’t long to go until the birth of his third child with wife Charley Webb, whose due date is fast approaching.
It’s thought the Emmerdale stars are due to welcome their baby in July or August time, with David Metcalfe actor Matthew now confirming they have just nine weeks to go.
Speaking on Lorraine on Wednesday, the star, who is currently at the centre of a controversial storyline on the ITV soap, shared his excitement with the family about to expand.
Charley and Matthew already have two sons, Buster nine and Bowie three.

As Lorraine asked about the impending arrival, he excitedly told her: “Yeah, in nine week’s time or around that.”
Lorraine said it was “amazing”, with him agreeing: “Yeah, number three.
“We’ve got two boys, Buster and Bowie, so they’re nine and three. So yeah, expecting in around nine weeks’ time.”

The pair confirmed the pregnancy in March this year, with Debbie Dingle actress Charley debuting her blossoming bump.
At the time, Charley and Matthew told OK! magazine that they were not planning on finding out the baby’s gender.
Meanwhile, as Matthew spoke with Lorraine he revealed eldest son Buster had joined him at the studio.

The camera then panned to the side of the studio where the youngster jumped up and down before waving at his dad.
Matthew laughed off his son’s excitement, as Lorraine confessed she thought he might be “destined” to head down the acting path like his mum and dad.
Charley’s exit date from Emmerdale ahead of maternity leave is not yet confirmed, neither is the storyline for her departure.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
