Matthew Stafford was worth the price and four more things we learned in Week 3

Week 3 belonged to quarterbacks with questions to answer.

Kirk Cousins refused to allow his Vikings to fall to 0-3, throwing for 323 yards and three touchdowns to ensure any confidence we may have had in the Seahawks was a fool’s errand. Aaron Rodgers planted the Packers’ flag atop the NFC North, despite some, uh, questionable officiating.

Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford combined for 775 passing yards because every Rams-Buccaneers game is a banger now, I guess. Justin Fields went in the opposite direction, which is not great for Matt Nagy’s job security in Chicago.

In the end, five teams escaped with undefeated records — two each in the AFC and NFC West. The Chiefs fell below .500 for the first time since 2015. The Raiders are 3-0 for the first time since 2002. Half the AFC South, including the Indianapolis Colts, is searching for its first win of the year.

Let’s figure out what we learned amid the chaos.
