Matthew Stafford appears to be working out with Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford appears to be getting in some extra offseason work with Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola, according to the wide receiver’s social media accounts.

Yesterday, Amendola posted several pictures on his Instagram account featuring him and Stafford working on their routes and timing, with the following caption:

“Experiences generate emotions. Emotions generate values. Values generate narratives of meaning, and when our values align…we become one.”

With just over a week before training camp, Stafford and Amendola appear to be building on the chemistry they first developed in OTAs and minicamp.

“With their personalities matching up with their work ethic it shouldn’t catch anyone off guard how much these two want to work together to figure out any kinks in their game and build that trust relationship. The chemistry these two are building will pay major dividends to come to the start of the season and don’t be surprised how much of key role Amendola will play in the success for this upcoming season.”

Jones was unable to participate in Spring camp but his ability to participate was seen steadily improving with each day. Based on the video Jones posted on his Instagram account, his health appears to have returned and he looks like he will be ready to go next week.

Jones captioned the video with “A lot of pain, a lot of passion…” and even got two thumbs up emojis in a comment from Lions wide receiver coach Robert Prince.
