Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford had himself quite a game in the Week 8 win over the visiting New York Giants. For his impressive effort, Stafford has been nominated as a finalist for this week’s FedEx Air Player of the Week.
Stafford completed 25 of his 32 pass attempts, including a perfect 12-for-12 in the second half. He wound up with 342 passing yards and three TDs to one INT.
The other nominees are Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
