Celtic are 'considering' a move for Juventus scout Matteo Tognozzi for a new director of football role, according to a report.
The Parkhead side are looking to overhaul their football operations with the departure of chief executive Peter Lawwell at the end of the season.
Scottish Rugby chief Dominic McKay will take over from the Hoops supremo and appointing a new director of football is one of the areas he is looking to address.
And it's claimed by Goal that Juve talent spotter Tognozzi is someone Celtic are looking at.
Tognozzi has worked as a sporting director in the Italian lower leagues with Rosignano and Pontedera before working as a scout for Zenit in Russia.
He then landed scouting roles in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg before joining up with Serie A giants Juve in 2017.
Celtic are expected to undergo a complete rebuild in the summer with a series of first team stars tipped to leave the club.
Neil Lennon's future is also in doubt as McKay looks to restructure various areas including recruitment and the academy set-up.
