Matteo Guendouzi names his favourite moment in an Arsenal shirt and it wasn't under Mikel Arteta

Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has delivered his verdict on his favourite moment since arriving in the Premier League in 2018 - and fans will love his response.

The 20-year-old arrived from French second-tier outfit Lorient as one of Unai Emery's first signings at the Emirates Stadium and quickly made an impression.

In less than two years, Guendouzi has accumulated 53 Premier League appearances, including 21 this season, and scored his first goal for the club in the Europa League victory over Qarabag in October 2018.

Having featured many times, scored goals, established himself in France's U21 set-up and played in a European final for the Gunners, Guendouzi has had plenty of moments to remember.

However, when asked by teammate Nicolas Pepe what his best moment at the club was, Guendouzi delighted Arsenal fans with his response by replying: "The win over Tottenham at home last season."

In a memorable game at the Emirates Stadium, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the opening goal from the penalty spot but Spurs struck in front with goals from Eric Dier and Harry Kane.

The Gunners fought back in the second period though, with Aubameyang adding another goal to his tally, followed by goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira.
