Matteo Guendouzi finally breaks his silence after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta's transfer decision

Matteo Guendouzi has issued his first social media post since Arsenal's 2-1 win over Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

The midfielder was left out of the Arsenal squad for the clash in the capital as speculation continues to grow about his future at the club.

The 21-year-old has been frozen out by manager Mikel Arteta since the return to action.

Mikel Arteta on using the FA Cup as a stepping stone to other titles

Guendouzi was again missing for the FA Cup final against Chelsea, alongside fellow Arteta reject Mesut Ozil.

Juventus have been linked with a swap deal for the playmaker, but Guendouzi is only thinking about one thing at the moment.

In his first social media post since potentially the final Arsenal match he could have played, he posted: 'Holidays' alongside a picture of a private swimming pool and apartment complex.

Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Arteta commented on both Guendouzi and Ozil following the FA Cup triumph.

He said: "They’re all part of it,’ he said after the 2-1 win.

"We don’t have here Matteo [Guendouzi] and Mesut [Ozil] but they’re a big part of it because they all contributed in here.

"They all should be a big part of it. All of them contributed to this trophy."
