Former Love Island Australia star Matt Zukowski was caught deleting and reposting an Instagram Story referencing his bitter divorce from influencer Tammy Hembrow. Awkies!
ICYMI, after seven months of marriage, Zukowski and Hembrow have officially called it quits. After confirming the end of their relationship, the pair have both seemingly taken online digs at each other, such as posting indirect TikToks and liking shady comments.
Most recently, the Where’s Your Head At? podcast host was caught sharing, deleting and reposting an Instagram Story that seemingly referenced his dating life.
On Tuesday, Zukowski shared an IG Story where he was smashing a pile of wings and a crisp Coke. Alongside the impromptu mukbang was a caption which read, “Time to date and find myself again”.
The Outspoken podcast quickly picked up the cryptic post, asking their followers if they reckon his caption was a bat signal for singles or a silly mistake.
“Matt Zukowski has revealed it’s ‘time to date and find myself again.’ Do we think it’s worded poorly and he means ‘date himself’ or is he signalling his DMs are open?” the podcast wrote alongside a screen recording of the video.
However, after the story made it to the podcast’s Instagram account, Zukowski had seemingly deleted it and reposted a new version.
This time, writing, “Time to date MYSELF and find MYSELF AGAIN.”
The cheeky blunder comes shortly after Hembrow posted a series of emotional videos where she expressed how she’s been feeling since the split.
In one video, Hembrow joked that she was “putting [herself] in time out”. In another TikTok, Hembrow is seen crying in bed to Taylor Swift‘s “I Hate It Here”.
“Search Taylor Swift bridge for me,” the text overlaying the video of Hembrow crying read.
“Can’t tell if it was a good or a bad day to do this trend, but may as well get it all out,” she wrote in the caption of the same video.
At the time of writing, neither party have come forward with the reason behind their breakup. However, up until they officially got married, their relationship was rife with breakup and cheating rumours.
