Matt Ryan confident the Falcons ‘can get this thing turned around’

After throwing for 356 yards, four touchdowns and zero turnovers in a Week 6 loss, it’s hard to believe Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan isn’t losing faith in the team.

However, Ryan has played his best football since head coach Dan Quinn took over and the former league MVP is not about to concede the season with ten games left.

Talking with the media after Wednesday’s practice, Ryan said he remains confident in the team’s ability to turn things around.

Ryan has a league-leading 15 touchdown passes, but the Falcons are 1-5, showing a quarterback can only do so much. The team has been more competitive in recent weeks, though, so it’s at least possible Atlanta is on the right track.

The team opened its Week 7 matchup with the L.A. Rams as three-point underdogs. We’ll see if Ryan can lead the Falcons on some kind of miraculous turnaround over their final 10 games.
