Newcastle United took a huge step towards Premier League survival on Saturday afternoon with a 3-2 win over West Ham United.
An own goal from Issa Diop and Joelinton's fourth Premier League goal for the club were cancelled out by a Diop goal at the right end and a Jesse Lingard penalty kick.
Nonetheless, Joe Willock's late header from the bench secured a vital 3-2 win that moved the Magpies nine points clear of the relegation zone and within touching distance of preserving their Premier League status for another season.
It was a damaging day for West Ham's Champions League hopes, though, as David Moyes' side missed the chance to move up to third in the Premier League table.
But while those ramifications may be obvious, there were some less glaring lessons that were learned in the 3-2 win over the Hammers.
Here's a look at the moments you might have missed from St James' Park.
Matt Ritchie celebrating Willock's goal before he scored it
Ritchie's passion is clear for everybody to see and a video of him heading the air and celebrating in anticipation of Joe Willock's equaliser against Tottenham a fortnight ago went viral on social media.
And he repeated the trick on Saturday as a video of him doing similar after his cross for Willock's winning goal was shared widely on Twitter.
Long may his passion continue.
Fabulous five
Five was the magical number after Newcastle beat West Ham again on Saturday.
The victory meant the Magpies recorded their fifth Premier League double over the Hammers and it also stretched Newcastle's unbeaten record at home to five successive matches.
Adventurous Ciaran Clark highlights effectiveness of counter-attacking first-half plan
Newcastle's plan to absorb West Ham's pressure and catch them on the counter attack worked a treat in the first half and it wasn't just the forward players who were busting a gut to get forward.
In the build-up to the corner that led to the second goal, centre-half Ciaran Clark was the furthest forward in a four versus three overload, summing up how quickly and effectively they were in transition.

Newcastle are West Ham's bogey team
Despite David Moyes' good record against Newcastle (he had only lost one of his last six away trips to St James' Park), West Ham have now won just two of their past 17 Premier League away games against the Magpies.
Newcastle are also the only non-established top six team to beat the Hammers in the Premier League this term.
Isaac Hayden is all of us on Twitter
Hayden has been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury and fans have been loving how active and involved he has been in the matchday conversation on Twitter in the games he has missed.
And yesterday was no different, as he tweeted at full-time: "And breathe... now I know what it’s like for fans watching at home, great win from the lads!"
Karl Darlow also missed the game through injury and he reacted in a similar vein as he tweeted: "Never in doubt!"
