Congratulations to Lions kicker Matt Prater for earning a spot on the Pro Football Focus Team of the Week for Week 1.
Prater was the kicker for the team, which honors the highest-graded players at each position from the games each week.
The veteran kicker posted a perfectly clean slate, making all five of his kick attempts. Both his field goals were prominent for Prater in his appearance on the PFF list. His 55-yard bomb in the first half was the longest made attempt on Sunday, and he successfully tied the game in overtime with a clutch make.
Prater is the only Lion to make the team in Week 1. No Cardinals players made the cut for their part during the tie.
