Matt Nagy whispering to Mitchell Trubisky became an instantaneous NFL meme

The social media buzz after Sunday night’s Chicago Bears loss to the Los Angeles Rams was all about Mitchell Trubisky and the reason he was benched late in the fourth quarter.

Both he and head coach Matt Nagy said it wasn’t because of his play. It was due to a hip injury he suffered in the first half of the game.

The moment that Trubisky was removed, he got close to his coach and heard some words in his ear from Nagy. And with Trubisky struggling all season, NFL fans turned it into a meme on Twitter.
