Matt Nagy announces Nick Foles is Bears starting QB

The Nick Foles era has commenced in Chicago.

Matt Nagy confirmed what we all expected that Nick Foles is the Bears’ starting quarterback moving forward.

Foles replaced starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky midway through the third quarter against the Atlanta Falcons.

In a quarter in a half, Foles completed 16-of-29 for 188 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Foles led the Bears to a fourth-quarter comeback where they scored three touchdowns in four and a half minutes to defeat the Falcons 30-26.

The undefeated Bears will face the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.
