Matt Kalil finds himself out of a job

After trading for Laremy Tunsil, the Texans decided that former first-round pick Matt Kalil was expendable.

Kalil spent the first four seasons of his career with the Vikings after being selected fourth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.

His first season was awesome, being named to the Pro Bowl and as an All-Pro. After that, though, it was all downhill.

Kalil was with the Panthers in 2017 and 2018, although he didn’t play due to injury in 2018. And now, there’s a chance that Kalil will be off the field for two-straight years at 30 years old.

He’s not exactly hurting for money. Kalil has made more than $58 million in his career, per Spotrac.
