Ioannidis is quietly one of the better pressure creators in the NFL dating back two seasons and running, which would go a long way in explaining why the Redskins gifted him an extension.
Capable tackling helps too. As Pro Football Focus noted above, Ioannidis graded out at a 77.8 in 2018 when it comes to tackling, which put him in the top five among defensive interior players.
Call it an incredible feat for Ioannidis, who sees plenty of attention his way from offenses thanks to the same line also boasting Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen.
