Matt Ioannidis rated second-strongest player in EA Madden 21

Are you looking for some good news in Washington? I don’t blame you.

Well, a cool nod to an underrated player was made earlier this week when EA Madden NFL 21 released their ratings for the upcoming installment of their classic video game. Washington’s powerhouse defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis was rated as having the second-highest strength in the game at 98, trailing only Los Angeles Rams superstar Aaron Donald. Ioannidis’ second-place rating is tied with Los Angeles Chargers defensive tackle, Linval Joseph.

Ioannidis had a stellar year in Washington in 2019, leading the team with 8.5 sacks while throwing in 64 total tackles. With the addition of Chase Young this year, it will get harder for Ioannidis to grow his name on the Washington defensive line, but should he keep up his efforts and live up to that strength rating, he should have no problem staying dominant.
