Matt Hancock reunites with I'm A Celeb campmates at Seann Walsh comedy gig

Seann Walsh was buzzing after some of his I'm A Celebrity campmates supported him at his recent comedy show.

The comedian performed at London's Soho Theatre and some of his newfound famous pals were in attendance to cheer him on. Boy George was beaming alongside Culture Club musician Vangelis Polydorou, as well as Matt Hancock and girlfriend Gina Colangelo as the group posed for a picture after the gig.

Sharing to social media after his performance, Seann gushed: "Campmates reunited. This will never be normal!!! Thanks to all that came to the show tonight." Boy George, 61, commented: "The comedy was just endless and Seann Walsh has a proper job that he is f***ing amazing at!"

Fans absolutely loved the former campmates hanging out as they all resume to their normal lives after their stint down under. George, who has previously admitted he ‘hated on Matt’ and branded him ‘slippery’, also filmed a grinning Matt and Seann as he said on video: "What did he just say? I don’t even think my phone is saving but he just resigned."

Matt also took to his social media and wrote: "Hilarious evening watching @seannwalsh's brilliant show 'Seann Walsh Is Dead. Happy Now?' Funny who you bump into! @boygeorgeofficial."

This reunion comes after the disgraced former Health Secretary announced on Wednesday he will quit Parliament at the next general election to explore 'new ways to communicate' with the public. The MP for West Suffolk wrote to the Prime Minister to confirm he will not stand as a Tory candidate ahead of the next election.

Since leaving the show, there has been rumours of a feud between the politician and his former campmates as the celebrities reportedly wanted to distance themselves from him. Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott addressed those rumours on Loose Women this week: “I haven’t had a message of him yet.”

She added: “My knowledge of politics isn’t actually that good so once we got into the jungle and everyone puts the jungle outfits on, we were one team. He was going to get the stars, he was feeding us, so I was happy with that.”

This comes after Seann took aim at the MP when referencing the aftermath of his Strictly Come Dancing scandal, when he was caught kissing dance partner Katya Jones in 2018. Hinting at the scandal, Seann asked the audience: "Have you ever had an entire country think you’re a c***?"

"It’s quite a lot to take. It’s quite difficult when an entire country gets together and decide you’re a c***," he said, according to The Sun.

"You don’t really know how to deal with it. Unless of course, you’re Matt Hancock, and you just come third in the jungle."

Despite the joke at the MP's expense, he did admit he formed a friendship with him saying the experience was so surreal that it might have just been a ‘jet lag dream’. "I had this dream I was stood in what seemed like a jungle and Matt Hancock appeared from the bushes and we became undercover moles and then friends," he said.
