Health Secretary Matt Hancock has explained how he has ended up with a tan when most people in the UK have scrapped their holidays.
Most foreign holidays have been scrapped this year because of quarantine rules and Foreign Office travel advice against non-essential travel.
The Prime Minister Boris Johnson stayed in the UK for his break with a camping holiday in Scotland - which was cut short.
Now Matt Hancock has explained how he has ended up with a tan.
The Health Secretary said his tanned complexion is thanks to a week’s “staycation” holiday in Britain this summer.
Asked “Where did you get that tan?” on LBC radio, he replied: “Cornwall.”
Mr Hancock added: “You can’t beat a holiday in Cornwall. I went surfing in Cornwall.
“It was absolutely fantastic, glorious – holiday at home, you can’t beat Cornwall in the summer.”
He continued: “I’ve had one week of holiday this year; I think everybody deserves a break.”
