Matt Hancock gets the same comment as she shares secret friendship with Dancing on Ice star after sparking complaints

Matt Hancock found himself on the other end of a flood of the same comments after he revealed his secret friendship with a Dancing on Ice star. When the ITV skating competition returned to screens on Sunday night (February 5), viewers were left surprised by the MP's appearance in the audience.

Those tuning in to the show asked what was going on as the MP for West Suffolk was interviewed in the audience by host Holly Willoughby, and he was asked if he fancied a go on the ice. "What sort of song would have to be played to get you going?" the 41-year-old presenter asked Matt, who came in third place after a controversial stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here at the end of last year.

"I dance to almost anything," the former health secretary said, who was joined by his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo. "It's more enthusiasm than talent though. A bit of Queen Don't Stop Me Now." Holly then put to him: "Would you pop on a sequin?" And he replied: "l could do with dressing up a bit." He added: "Eating cockroaches is nothing compared to how difficult this is."

And Matt has since revealed he was in the audience as he is pals with one of the Dancing On Ice 2022 stars. The 44-year-old told his social media followers that he is in fact friends with The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran which stunned his followers.

Sharing a snap of himself and the singer in the ITV studio on Instagram, Matt referenced the boyband's hit song, gushing: "I'm Glad I Came!" He added: "Great to catch up with my friend @sivaofficial at @dancingonice. Another incredible performance."

But his followers were distracted due to Matt's attire. @_willgriffiths_ said: "Your shirt needs an iron again." @seankknox wrote: "You need to get the iron back out." @delaney5714 posted: "Your shirt still creased Matt." @mrselford laughed: "Crinkly shirt time again."

And the comments haven't gone unnoticed as Matt caused more confusion by posting a video of himself ironing on TikTok. He posted a short video to the video-sharing app in response to the comments he received.

"Thanks for all the feedback yesterday, the shirts have been a bit creased, so here goes," he told those watching. He also typed in the caption: "Hoping to de-crease the number of comments I get about my unironed shirts. Now on to some other pressing issues."
