Matt Goss banned from Tinder as users thought he was 'catfish' posing as Bros star

He has been a hit with ladies since the 1980s and even dated presenter Mel Sykes.

But Matt Goss wasn’t quite as successful on Tinder.

In fact, the Bros star was stunned to be banned from the dating app.

Women had a hard time believing it was really heartthrob Matt chatting to them.

They thought the Bros hunk was a “catfish” posing as a celebrity so they reported him to administrators.

“I got reported because they thought it was fake,” he laughs.

“They said, ‘Matt won’t take kindly to you using his photos’. It was quite funny.”

Fortunately, the singer doesn’t need online dating any more, adding: “I’m seeing somebody and I’m excited about it.”

Matt celebrated 10 years of his headline Las Vegas residency at the Mirage on Sunday night, where he was presented with two awards for his charity work.

Brother and Bros bandmate Luke was in the crowd to cheer him on.

“It was an incredible night and I received some accolades which blew me away,” says Matt.

Meanwhile, following the band’s surge in popularity following
rockumentary Bros: After The Screaming Stops, Matt has his sights on a slot at Glastonbury.

“It would be a dream come true for Bros to smash it at Glastonbury,” he says. “It would be an honour.”
