A TV presenter who blew an exclusive interview with hit-maker Adele after he admitted he hadn't listened to her new album has insisted he is a 'monstrous fan' of her music.
Australia's Weekend Sunrise host Matt Doran was interviewing the singer-songwriter when he reportedly admitted he had not listened to her fourth studio album 30.
The Aussie host flew to London on November 4 for the exclusive interview with the 33-year-old musician of the moment, but it is reported that when Adele asked Doran, “What do you think of my album?” he replied: “I haven’t listened to it.”
The presenter's shameful omission is said to have been enough to send the Hello singer walking out of the interview.

However, other sources have claimed the interview was already over by that point.
Channel 7 bosses took a dim view of the situation and handed Doran a two week suspension.
The host was back on air this weekend after his break was over.
And the same day the story broke about the alleged interview blunder, the TV host responded to discussions about Adele by telling viewers" ''Im a monstrous fan."

Channel 7 reportedly brokered the 'car crash' interview with Adele as part of a package which also included broadcast rights to Oprah Winfrey’s.
Although it may not ever be aired as despite the $1 million package the stars record label Sony is now denying the channel has rights to air it.
Meanwhile Adele's album has been met by rave reviews as fans were left in floods of tears upon hearing the new release which is filled with raw emotion.
And even the songstress herself confessed she had doubt about releasing her personal life into the spotlight.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music Beats 1 radio show, Adele said that "there were moments when I was writing these songs – and even when I was mixing them and stuff like that – where I was like, ‘Maybe I don’t need to put this album out. Like maybe I should write another.'"
But clearly the hit-maker decided to release her album citing music as her 'therapy'.
And fans can hear for themselves the stars latest releases during a special concert filmed at The London Palladium two days after her album release.
An Audience With Adele airs tonight on ITV at 7.25pm tonight.
