Ireland's Matt Doherty renounced his old Arsenal allegiances following his Tottenham move in an hilarious video posted to social media.
The defender took some flak from Gunners fans on Twitter when old tweets declaring his love for Spurs' North London rivals surfaced during the week.
The 28-year-old went back and deleted the old posts in a clip shared on the official Spurs Twitter account.
The video starts with Doherty opening a laptop and loading up a tweet he sent in 2012 which reads: "I love arsenal forever and ever and ever."
He gives a sheepish look to the camera before shrugging and pressing the delete button.
Doherty then opens another tweet from the past in which he wrote: "Yes I'm a HUGE Arsenal fan!"
He again deletes it before smiling and tapping the cockerel badge on the Spurs shirt he is wearing to seemingly assure supporters his loyalties to the Gunners are well over.
Regardless of his previous allegiances to Arsenal, the signing appears shrewd business for Spurs, and Doherty spoke of his delight at the move.
"I'm very proud to be joining such a big club," said Doherty. "[They have] the best stadium in the world and possibly the best training ground in the world.
"Once I knew there was interest, it was a no-brainer for me.

"My time at Wolves was fantastic - I haven't got a bad word to say about the whole club at all. I just feel like coming here is going to take my game and my career to the next level."
Ireland boss Stephen Kenny said: “It’s certainly an interesting move for Matt.
“I can see why Matt would be a perfect fit for Tottenham. He's one of the best full-backs around and I’d say he’s very much in the frame to play for them.
“He's been a brilliant servant for Wolves and I'm sure the Wolves supporters appreciate that.
“You don't get many players who stay at a club for 10 years and I think he still has some good years ahead of him.
“He has pushed on over the last number of years. To have a full-back who scores goals is a real asset so it's great value for Tottenham.
“It's a great deal for Tottenham and he shows his character by getting some late goals, like for Ireland against Denmark.”
