A Matt Damon superfan said her day was made as she bumped into the Hollywood hero out for a stroll.
It was just a regular training session for Fiona Brennan last week, until she met the new Dublin local last Wednesday during a bike ride in Killiney, South Dublin.
Speaking to Dublin Live, the athlete, who is training for Ironman, told how the “chilled out” star made her day stopping for a socially distanced chat and picture whilst on a romantic walk with his wife Luciana Barroso.
Fiona said: “I told him I was training for an Ironman. And he said, Really? A full one?’ He told me his brother had done 11.
“And he himself took part in a relay triathlon in 2008.
“And I said I’m just a rookie and this would be my first.”
She added: “[I’m a] huge fan. I keep my eyes peeled for him now every evening when I’m out training.”
