Matt Breida would’ve been limited in full practice

49ers running back Matt Breida injured his ankle on the final play of the first half in Sunday’s win over the Panthers. He didn’t return to the game, and would not have been a full participant in practice Monday.

Thursday Night Football makes for a strange week for teams. The 49ers will move their schedule around a little, but they still didn’t practice Monday. With a game Thursday though, they still released a practice report that indicates what participation would’ve looked like had the team worked out.

Breida was the most notable addition to the practice report, but left tackle Justin Skule also landed as a ‘limited’ participant with knee and foot injuries. The 49ers are already down to their fourth and fifth tackles, so an injury to Skule would be a significant blow. We’ll keep a close eye on him throughout the week, though Shanahan didn’t indicate after the game that anything serious happened.

Jeff Wilson Jr.  also had a scary moment late in the game when he went down with a head injury. He was quickly tended to by the training staff before walking into the medical tent. His injury was just a stinger though, and he was not on the practice report.

Here’s what the report would’ve looked like had San Francisco undergone a full practice Monday:

Did not participate

FB Kyle Juszczyk (knee)
OT Mike McGlinchey (knee)
CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot)

Limited participation

RB Matt Breida (ankle)
RB Raheem Mostert (knee)
OT Justin Skule (knee, foot)
OT Joe Staley (fibula)
TE Levine Toilolo (groin)
DE Dee Ford (quadricep)
