The 49ers’ final play of the first half was a handoff to running back Matt Breida to run out the clock. He was taken down for a short gain before limping off the field with the rest of the team.
He was officially diagnosed with an ankle injury and is questionable to return. Breida had 35 yards on 11 carries before exiting. He’s been on the sideline without a helmet since the second half started.
