Matt Barnes may have lost his temper on the basketball court. You’re shocked, we know.
Yes, he’s still retired from the NBA. But now the mercurial ex-small forward is coaching his son in youth basketball — and not much appears to have changed. In an Instagram story this weekend, Barnes revealed he was forced to coach from the hallway in the gym after he received a double technical.
“Some [expletive] will never change 😅🤷🏾♂️ at least Ts don’t cost m 2500 no more,” Barnes wrote. “. . . Daddy got a double tech & ejected so he’s gotta coach from the hallway.”
That poor referee.
Barnes last played for the Golden State Warriors in 2017. He played for 10 different teams during his 12-year career.
Retirement doesn’t seem very restful.
