Matt Baker tipped for I'm A Celebrity as Wales confirmed as location for this year

TV presenter Matt Baker is one of the early favourites to be on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2021.

Names have started to be linked with the new series of the award-winning ITV show after the news that it will once again take place in Wales this year.

After nearly two decades of being set in the Australian jungle, I'm A Celebrity made a shock switch to Gwrych Castle in Abergele last year as the coronavirus pandemic put pay to the programme's annual visit Down Under.

Giovanna Fletcher won the last series, becoming I'm A Celeb's first ever Queen of the Castle and now the rumour mill is throwing up potential campmates for 2021.

And one of the red hot tips is former Blue Peter and One Show host Matt, who is currently on odds of 3/1 with Betway to go into the castle in a few months time.

Countryfile star Matt being linked with I'm A Celebrity comes just as he has been commentating on Olympic gymnastics for the BBC.

And, at the weekend, the County Durham born star celebrated the news that his family's programme, Our Farm in the Dales, had been given a Saturday night primetime slot by Channel 4.

Made in Chelsea star and Strictly 2021 finalist Jamie Laing is 5/2, with ex Love Islander Tommy Fury on the same odds as Matt.

Other famous faces tipped for I'm A Celebrity this time round include Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall, currently on 4/1 with Betway; Line of Duty actress Vicky McLure, comedian Jack Whitehall, who is at 7/1.

Jack is just behind Tom Daley, with the now Olympic champion on odds of 6/1 to swap the diving pool for the castle.

His diving partner Matty Lee is a 12/1 tip for I'm A Celebrity, while defending Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty is further down the betting on 25/1, behind Piers Morgan who is currently on odds of 20/1.
