Matrix van and police sent to Liverpool hotel after group disturbance

Police rushed to a Liverpool city centre hotel this morning after reports of a disturbance.

Officers arrived with their sirens on at Innside, on Old Hall Street, after a group of people were allegedly causing disruption at the hotel.

Images from the scene show, at least three police cars parked outside the hotel and a Matrix van at around 8.45am on Tuesday, March 8.

Witnesses on their way in to work told the ECHO they heard sirens and saw police officers run into the building, as emergency services responded to the disturbance.

Merseyside police said the group left the hotel once they arrived at the scene.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called to a minor disturbance involving a group of people.

"They have since left the hotel without issue. No arrests."
