Livingston keeper Matija Sarkic could face Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling next month.

The 22-year-old, who was born in Grimsby, has represented Montenegro at youth level up to under-21.

“Great news and well deserved. Well done Matty.”

Sarkic, who started against Livingston last night, goes into the Montenegro national team as third-choice keeper behind Danijel Petkovic and Milan Mijatovic.

He will be looking up impress national boss Faruk Hadzibegic as he seeks to make his full debut.

Montenegro are currently looking to rebuild as they are out of the direct Euro 2020 qualifying and sit just above bottom side Bulgaria in Group A on goal difference.
