Mateusz Musialowski produces Liverpool magic as Reds hit rivals for six

Liverpool youngsters defeated their Middlesbrough counterparts 6-0 in the Under-18s Premier League at Kirkby on Saturday.

Mateusz Musialowski and Max Woltman both bagged braces while Kaide Gordon started off the second half rout after Jarrell Quansah had headed the hosts into a first half lead.

Liverpool went ahead on 15 minutes when the home side's captain Quansah headed in from a Musialowski corner kick.

The Reds doubled their advantage three minutes into the second half as Gordon met a James Norris cross to heading his fifth goal in three games.

Just four minutes later Liverpool added a third from the penalty spot as Melkamu Frauendorf was clipped by Jack Stott and Woltman sent keeper Max Metcalfe the wrong way from 12 yards out.

The fourth goal arrived on 63 minutes when Gordon fed Musialowski who feinted inside and drilled a fine finish into the bottom corner with his left foot.

Liverpool’s fifth came following some great work from Gordon and Frauendorf in the build-up before Woltman clipped the ball past Metcalfe on 78 minutes.

The rout was completed with three minutes to go as Norris picked out Musialowski for his second of the afternoon with the Pole hammering home a powerful finish.
